About Palmdrive

Palmdrive is a vehicle rental marketplace in Pattaya. We do not own the cars, motorbikes and scooters ourselves — we bring together local rental companies on one site so you can compare real vehicles, prices and conditions before you write to anyone.

The idea is simple. Renting in Thailand usually means messaging several companies, asking the same questions and only then finding out the deposit terms. On Palmdrive the terms are written on the listing itself, and every rental is backed by a proper agreement.

What we stand for

Your passport stays with you

Partners on Palmdrive do not hold your passport as a deposit. It is a condition of being listed here, not a favour you have to negotiate.

Verified partners

We check that a company really exists, really operates in Pattaya and can legally rent out the vehicles it lists.

A written agreement

Every rental is formalised in an agreement with the vehicle, dates, price and deposit spelled out. You get a PDF copy and can reopen it any time from your account.

Support in your language

The site works in English and Russian, and you can reach us in the messenger you already use — WhatsApp, Line or Telegram.

How the marketplace works

A partner applies

A local rental company registers, fills in its details and submits its vehicles.

We verify it

We confirm the company and its terms, and check that the listings match the vehicles actually on offer.

You choose and enquire

You compare vehicles by price, engine, transmission and what is included, then send an enquiry straight to the partner.

The rental is formalised

You and the partner agree the dates and sign a rental agreement. Palmdrive prepares and stores the document.

Who is responsible for what

Palmdrive, as the platform

  • verifies partner companies before their listings go live;
  • provides the catalogue, enquiry forms and rental-agreement tools;
  • stores the agreement and keeps it available in your account.

The partner company

  • owns or lawfully operates the vehicle and is the other party to your rental agreement;
  • is responsible for the vehicle’s condition, insurance, registration and availability;
  • sets the price, deposit, delivery and what is included in the rental.

You, as the renter

  • hold the licence and documents required to drive the vehicle in Thailand;
  • inspect the vehicle and read the agreement before accepting it;
  • follow the traffic rules and the terms agreed for the rental period.
